Anthony Reda, Director of Camper Support & Safety (Non-Clinical)

Anthony Reda is excited to join the Camp Morty team this summer as the Director of Camper Support & Safety.

Although this will be Anthony’s first summer at Camp Morty, camp has been a major part of his life. He spent 10 summers at YMCA Camp Combe, where he worked his way from counselor to trip coordinator to director. Those experiences helped shape his love for camp and his belief in the powerful impact it can have on young people.

During the school year, Anthony works as a middle school counselor and has spent the past 15 years supporting students across Putnam and Westchester counties. He is passionate about helping youth build confidence, take healthy risks, and recognize what they are capable of. He believes camp is one of the best places for young people to try new things, work through challenges, and feel proud of their growth.

Anthony holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from SUNY Oswego and a Master’s in K–12 School Counseling from Western Connecticut State University. He is deeply committed to helping ensure that every camper feels safe, supported, and able to fully enjoy their Camp Morty experience.

Anthony is proud to be part of Camp Morty’s 20th anniversary summer and looks forward to helping create a safe, meaningful, and unforgettable experience for campers.

Aaron Elliott, Director of Programming & Specialist Coordination

Aaron is entering his third summer at Camp Morty and brings a strong background in theatre to his work with campers and staff. Over the past few years, he has helped grow Morty’s performing arts programming and has brought creativity, energy, and excitement to our special event days.

This summer, Aaron will serve as the Director of Programming & Specialist Coordination, where he will continue developing engaging activities, supporting our specialist areas, and helping create a fun, enriching camp experience as we celebrate Camp Morty’s 20-year anniversary.

Adriana Longhitano, Director of Operations and Systems

Adriana is excited to join Camp Morty this summer as the Director of Operations and Systems during Camp Morty’s 20th year.

A lifelong resident of the Hudson Valley, Adriana has always appreciated the region’s beautiful landscape and the many ways nature can shape meaningful experiences for young people. Most recently, she has worked in the nonprofit sector as a program coordinator, supporting volunteers across the country and helping strengthen program operations.

Adriana’s connection to camp began early. Growing up, she spent more than eight summers at YMCA Camp Combe in Putnam Valley, NY, first as a camper and later as a C.I.T., counselor, and trip leader. Those summers remain some of her fondest memories and helped shape her appreciation for the impact camp can have on youth.

Adriana holds a Bachelor of Science from Iona College’s Hagan School of Business and a Master’s in Environmental Policy and Management from the University of Denver. She currently resides in Dutchess County, NY.

Alicia Daniels, Director of Teen Leadership and CIT Development

Alicia is honored to step into the role of Director of Teen Leadership and CIT Development. This will be her third year at Camp Morty, where she has remained closely connected to the CIT program throughout her time with camp. During her first summer as a General Counselor, Alicia stepped into a CIT leadership role on short notice after the season had already begun. That experience helped shape her passion for mentoring CITs and supporting their growth.

Outside of Camp Morty, Alicia works with young adults with learning and physical disabilities, helping them build independence while ensuring they receive a high standard of care. This work has strengthened her ability to guide, encourage, and empower young people in ways that are meaningful and lasting.

At Camp Morty, Alicia’s goal is to help CITs grow into confident, capable young leaders. She focuses on helping them build independence, take pride in their responsibilities, develop professionalism, and strengthen important life skills such as teamwork, communication, and accountability.

Alicia is committed to being a steady, positive role model for the young people at Camp Morty. She understands the impact of having someone who believes in you, challenges you, and supports you as you grow.

This summer, Alicia looks forward to bringing new ideas to the Teen Leadership and CIT program while helping create a meaningful and memorable experience for every young person at Camp Morty.
